I’ve been driving at the Nürburgring non-stop since 1995. Only as a big fan of the DTM, I was able to experience the golden era of the DTM live. but also continuously attended the 24h at the Nürburgring. In 1997 I did my first laps on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. This passion lasted for many years. First with a VW Golf GTI that I converted into a racing car and the last vehicle was a Seat Leon Cupra with almost 400 hp. This was the first time I drove under 8 minutes. The fastest personal time was 07:42 on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
I got into motorsport photography through friends I knew in drifting. But my heart beats for the Nürburgring. I’ve been photographing the Nürburgring NLS and the 24-hour race there for three years now. I see photography as a hobby of mine. Because I drove for a long time myself, I can incorporate my experience into the pictures.
When I don’t have a camera in hand, I’m a fan of grilled meat and good food, hiking with my girlfriend and my
dog.
