The Malton Forest Rally 2024, a celebrated clubman event, unfolded on November 3rd across the iconic North Yorkshire forests, with Adderstone Field in the Dalby Forest Complex hosting the service park.

Elliot Payne and co-driver Patrick Walsh emerged as the overall victors, mastering the challenging terrain in their Ford Fiesta Rally2. They clinched first place with impressive control and pace.

Following them to claim the runner-up spot was the team of Kyle White and Anthony Nestor in a Hyundai i20, trailing by 29 seconds.

Rounding out the overall podium were Stephen Petch and Michael Wilkinson, piloting another Fiesta Rally2 to a strong third-place finish.

In the historic H2 class, the honors went to Dan Mennell and co-driver John H Roberts in a Ford Escort Mk2, showing exceptional skill across the demanding forest stages.

Local favorite Matthew Robinson, with Hannah Davison navigating, took second in the historic category. Known for his speed on home soil, Robinson finished 26 seconds behind Mennell.

Completing the historic top three was the dynamic pairing of Ben Friend and Osian Owen in yet another Mk2, ending their rally 31 seconds adrift from the class leaders.
