Held at the beautiful Blenheim Palace near Oxford, Salon Prive is a well established event in the super car calendar, this year holding its 19th edition!
If your looking to attend, expect a range of high end classics, modern super cars, hyper cars and customised creations that fill the lawns around the palace adorning its beautiful grounds for several days over the shows duration.
Over the years we’ve come to expect a plethora of well known super car specialists and high end restoration businesses to be in attendance, thus putting on created displays to show off the greatest and latest examples of their work.
This year was no exception and just some of the big names with collections on display were Joe Macari, Furlonger specialist cars, Porsche, Koenigsegg, Tuthill Porsche, Morgan, Crazy Horse Designs, Theon Designs, electrogenic, Lotus cars, Oshe, Maserati, Zenvo, Naran Automotive, Kingsley, Rolls Royce, Lockton and many more.
There were helicopter sales for those wanting to kit themselves out with an additional mode of transport for when the traffic is a problem and then there were a number of non automotive luxury brands selling items from clothing, to jewellery to art.
Aside from the main show area and of course the hotly contested concourse competition, the rest of the grounds near the lake were filled with various owners clubs competing for the Club trophy sponsored by Lockton. The Ferrari , Aston Martin and Porsche owners clubs showing out in particularly healthy numbers and a few very special limited edition model gems hiding in those groups also.
Either side of the main drive/strip down to the main house was lined with more owners clubs and cars or special interest. This main strip also provided a good vantage point come closing time for those that wanted to see some of their favourite cars purr past with a cheeky burble of engine note.
All in all it was a fantastic event at an incredible location showcasing some of the very high end limits of concourse cars, brands and their owners.
If your in the area come the next Salon Prive event or even if your not and you need to travel a few hours to get to it like I did, please do, I promise you wont regret it...!!
